Hey guys. Had a real bad wind storm come through and it shredded my front Bimini on 03 260 da. Anyone have any history in replacing one. Were did you go? Any help please!:smt100

Great Lakes Top will be the best (and cheapest) place to get a factory replacement. The top will come thru without snaps installed. My suggestion would be to then have a local canvas guy install the snaps for you. Otherwise you will have to buy a tool to do it.

I had part of a tree fall on my rear bimni. Great Lakes was excellent to communicate with and considerably cheaper. I needed the main bow and a couple of the end fittings. I also purchased the aft canvas. The gal I talked to gave a tip. Those annoying tags on each pc have everything they need to know on them including color and fabric type,so if you cut them off, save them.

If you're going to order it from great lakes, and have a local shop put the snaps on (probably recommended) - get the shop to order it because it will save you another little bit.
The difference between me ordering my cockpit cover directly, and the local canvas shop doing it, saved me another $40.

I installed the snaps on my new aft canvas, it wasn't hard to do. For me it was alot easier than dragging the boat to a shop. I purachased a tool called Press-n-Snap for about 100 bucks. Having my own snap tool will be convenient when replacements are necessary.

Thanks for the help guys, saved me a bunch and it was easy. Already arrived, just waiting for it to quit raining out here so I can install it. And they said it was going to be a dry winter. :huh:
