Still a work in progress, the cabin and cockpit have been completely redone. New camper back will be installed this year. Have included some pictures.

Awesome work!

What type of non skid did you use on the floor? Mine feels like an ice rink when wet.

The deck just had the original non-skid surface, which seemed sufficent. The previous owner had glued carpet down, which presented a real problem to remove. After I had the deck striped, I used Interlux Brightside paint, White and Hatteras Beige.

What a beautiful restoration! Top notch! Congrats to you.

My grandfather has a 25.5 Amberjack (boat that I grew up on), and it is in need of some TLC. I'd love to do half of what you've done to it. Just WOW!

he has them they are removeable and stored in the fourth pic down on the gunwale, the 2x4 is a practice pole.Cant you see its notty

Lookin Good

I like how you did the sliding doors for storage in the back under the gunnels.
Mines wide open there and have thought about doing something there to hold some of my fishing gear.

Im also curious how your boat performs with the twins. Mine is a single and just put in a new 496 Mag MPI last season.

Thanks, she runs great with the small light 4's. Good on gas, and a snap to dock. I like the extra security that the twins give me.
The doors in the back were built to offset the loss of storage when I got rid of the back to back seats. I keep tools, cleaners, and supplies in them.

Thanks so much. Every year I say, nothing left to do, but I am already planning next winter's project!!! :smt021

Mine has the back to back seats and ive thought about changing them as well. Would definitely open up some more room.
I stand alot when driving and a nice seat with a flip up bolster would help alot. Theres a nice pair on craigslist i was thinking about getting.

Wish oviously you caught the drift,i was refering to the missing knot but didnt want to impy boat speed or depth so i twisted the word ,it worked.do you see the brass bar on the gunnel in pic 4?

Boy, it looks great. Nice attention to detail.
