I'm wondering if there may be a better website or forum that is more specifically geared toward the Sea Ray SLX series of boats? Doing a search here on this site find some info but not a large owner footprint full of info that i was expecting. Mostly i'm seeing large cabin cruiser type info on this site. I'm interested in 250 SLX specifics. Any suggestions?

thanks.

CSR is by far your best source of information. The SLX may not be the most popular model but I can guarantee you that the guys here are loaded with experience and are willing to help. Ask them a specific question and although you may not get the speediest of replys, you'll get good ones. The 350 Merc and B3 drive are very popular and lots of your boat's other components are shared with Sundancers and the like.

Ok great, thanks for the responses guys. I don't really have any very specific questions. I just enjoy reading and learning about my specific boat.

As a fellow SLX owner, the threads specific to these boat are not as common, but many discussion on here are relevant since the components are shared.
And as stated above, if you ask a specific question, it is likely you will receive some feedback and ideas.

Another SLX owner who would love to see "Master Threads" for each SLX model, but we are the minority.

Like others have said, a 350 w/ B3 is a 350 w/ B3, so you can glean a lot from topical threads.

The main SLX thread in the Sport Boats forum has good information too.

I recently picked up a 2014 300 SLX w/ twin 350's.

Anyone know if there is access behind those vinyl pads where the arch meets the boat? Need to get to an antenna mount and not sure if i just pull them off or what.

Yep, there's access. (In fact, I'm pretty certain that's the logic in having them there.)

I just had a radar installed, and my installation expert commented at how good the "raceway" is to run wiring from there to the helm.

Thanks. I figured I'd ask first before trying to take them off. Counting the days until she goes in.
