Having electrical issues on my 2003 240 sundeck. No electronics will work off of the swtich panel, no lights, blowers, bilge pump, etc. Searay thought it might be the switch panel so I replaced it, but still not working. Also, cleaned-up the grounds when I replaced the panel.

Checked fuses, they are OK, as show as being OK when I press the tester button. One odd item, the navigation horn will sound-off randomly, had to pull the fuse to get it to stop.

Talked to searay about the possiblity of it being a bad electronic interface module, but they indicated that they rarely go bad.

Has anyone had a similar problem, or any suggestions as what I can try next to solve the problem? Does anyone have a wiring diagram for this boat that they could send me? So far, very frustrating.

Thanks in advance for your help.

I had a short between the wires coming from the alternator that caused similiar symptoms. There was a recall a couple of years ago to re-route those wires so they did not rub and short. Might not be your problem but wouldn't hurt to take a look.

Have you checked your wiring at the starter switch. I had a loose one once and it would kill all power on the boat.

Problems continue. Checked the wires near the alternator, and will check the wires near the starter swtich as chuck suggested. The grounds have been cleaned-up. I was able to get the lights, etc. working from the switch panel, but no radio. I shut-down the boat, turned it back on, now the radio works, but no other electrical items work. Horn still blows randomly after the boat is running about an hour - anyone with similar type problems?

I had the same problem. Replaced the touch pad and the electronic interface module (fuse box). Works fine now.

Did you have any luck? I have nothing from switch panel working.... but it does randomly work.
