Hi all, new to this forum, and already have a question.
Really struggling finding the fuse for the bildge pump on my 1997 Sundancer 240. I've checked all around by the battery, and checked main fuse board under the dashboard / instrument cluster, which does have a fuse under the name of SUMP, but this isn't blown.
I operated the bildge pump switch in the instrument cluster, the switch light came on but quickly, flickered then went out. Only then did I realise that the pump was really bunged up with crud. So now I have no operating bildge pump from the switch or by lifting the float. I've removed the pump from the loom that is on the starboard side of the engine bay, just below the starboard engine mount, gave it a good clean out and connected straight to the battery and now all works ok, just have no power from the loom in the engine bay. Does anyone know where the bildge pump fuse is located, or have a wiring diagram for this boat, and again really struggling to find one. Also, just to give some more information, I think the boat was built in Ireland, which I think was for the European market, I'm from the UK, so maybe the Irish boats are wired up slightly differently to the American one, not sure, just presuming this maybe the case. Any helps, would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks Whitty.
