I know this door slide/rollers issue has been discussed before, but I wanted to bring it up again because I will be replacing my very stuck door slides in a few weeks. I promise to take step-by-step pictures as I know this is a recurring issue for many on this forum. My question goes out to anyone who has made this repair recently using the cut away drawing from Sea Ray that was posted in the 240 Dancer thread by Dan (Degree of Freedom) on January 3, 2012? The cut-away drawing shows that you must remove 5 screws holding the helm to the starboard side of the boat. The instructions from Sea Ray tell you how to get to the forward brackets (remove the dashboard) and how to get to the bottom brackets (remove the access panel in the aft cabin ceiling), but how to you get to the five screws holding the helm to the starboard side of the boat?? Are these screws also accessable through the hole when the dash board is removed? Also a general question if you have made the repair.... Was it very difficult? Thanks in advance for any help,,, John DG
