I just bought a ‘98 210BR. I’m impressed with the amount of storage space next to the engine compartment, but it’s just a bit TOO cavernous. Stuff can slide all the way back to the battery or hydraulic pump, and I don’t want anything back there. I’d like to add dividers or drainable bins. Still brainstorming and I was hoping someone had some good ideas and pictures to make that a cleaner, more organized space.

Can we assume that you are talking about the "bench/sunpad" option? There were different seating plans available. On that assumption... It's pretty straight forward. Rubbermaid (for example) bins or divider walls. Both can be screwed down (w/sealant)- don't use screws that are too long, though. Compare to what's used for other things.

Here is an idea. I got some pvc sheet material at Home Depot. It’s about 3/8 or 1/2 thick. Easy to cut and it holds a screw well. I built these custom storage areas to fit my stuff. You could screw to surrounding parts or use an L bracket and short screw into the floor.

My 185 has the same storage areas on each side of the engine. I put a milk crate on one side to hold oil, cleaning supplies etc. On the other side I have a 5gal wash bucket. To keep in place I screwed a hook into the back wall of the seat backrest and use a bungee to keep them in place. That's what I did, but really, any type of bin, bucket, or storage netting you want can be put and secured into that space.
