I have had my eye on a 210 Select for a while now and the local dealership has both new 2007s and 2008s for sale. The MSRPs on the 2007s and 2008s are approximately $50K with a "sales price" of $45K; they are all similarly equipped. Given that a 2007 is a 2 year old boat and they have changed the design from 2008 to 2009; what is a realistic price to start negotiating at with the dealer? This will be my first boat so I don't have a good baseline for pricing and I am no hurry to get the boat during the winter months if they aren't willing to play ball; but if they made it too good to pass up I would make a purchase.
