I wouldn't know..... I kept my pool at 85-88° and wouldn't go in the gulf if it was less than 80°. No way am I ever going into St Clair. o_O
For some reason I kept getting bit in poor man’s by some weird fish or weird parasite….. no one else did…. that helped us make the decision to move to Erie

I used to swim in St Clair years ago before moving to Florida. Never had problems then. I had the biggest musky caught right there. Fought it about 10 minutes, got him close to the boat and lost him. Actually straightened two treble hooks out. I was bummed.
The owner of the anchored Sea Ray was doing what I'd do. Supervising the boat wash from the swim platform.... :)

Nothing too wild for us this holiday. Rain all day Friday and most of the day Saturday followed by a cold wind so the weekend didn’t get started until Sunday.
Sunday morning our family headed downtown to Big Ditch Brewing for brunch.

Back to the boat to enjoy time with our dock friends. The restaurant at the marina had live music that can be enjoyed from our dock without loosing our hearing and fighting the crowd.

One of guys grilled up 5 pounds of bologna and we pooled our dishes to pass and enjoyed a nice dock dinner. A couple of us have been on the lookout for some hard to find bourbons and I was pleasantly surprised by my friend’s recent finding. We
toasted to good friends and a safe season.

The boat never left the dock. Being retired, we tend to watch from the sidelines on holiday weekends.
Cheers!

Whenever I swam in Lake Ontario at Port Dover I would get a ear infection.
At least you don't need to worry about brain eating amoebas getting in through ears like Florida.
I never swam in fresh water down there. Between microscopic critters that could could kill you or the big critters (alligators) that could also kill you, fresh water.....no bueno!

Besides a brief test run of a friend's Whaler we didn't leave the dock either.

There were thousands of boats on the lake and it just didn't look like a good time.

Made a short cruise on the upper miss down to Prescott, WI. Was able to finally get her up on plane for the first time since the sea trial. Still a lot of floating debris in the river.
