2019 350 Sundancer 6.2 w Bravo 3s - Overheat: what to check

in all seriousness, thank you to all for the help on this.

Has anyone rigged up a way to send a gopro down there to inspect the drives?

Waterproof housing and a selfie stick (or anything w/ a 1/4-20 thread)?

I set one of these up last year. Basically this LED light attaches to the selfie stick and then your go-pro attaches to the light. It works but could be brighter.

I may install underwater lights which should really help with light for the camera.

Then this gopro selfie stick. I'm able to lay down on the swim platform and get the camera under the drives even when trimmed all the way down:

Great stuff. Thanks @Phil S

Did you consider some type of articulated arm/stick?
Any idea how bright the light you have is vs what you would get instead?

Truly appreciated

@Shaps I'd say it's bright enough. It only lights up the area right around the cam though, which was ok. My go pro doesn't have remote viewing (like wifi) so I end up moving it around the drives for about 10 mins. Then I go down into the galley where my office is set up, look at the footage on my 32" TV and hope I got good footage of the props, skegs etc. That's not ideal but it works.

I did consider something other than a selfie stick but I like that it's compact.

I'm the closest slip to the shore so at low tide there's only 5 feet of water, meaning I could probably just jump in the drink and do it. But there's jellyfish certain times of the year

Also for whatever reason, compared to all the other boats in the area, my swim platform is really close to the surface so it's hard to see where you're putting the go pro. Other stern drive boats on my dock have much higher swim platforms and the drives seem a lot higher to the surface.
