Looking at buying the new 320 and curious what others think about the boat and its performance.

I like the outboards, I would have preferred they use a twin configuration, you would think twin 350s would work just fine (or twin Yamaha 425s, but that will never happen). I don’t want to go 40+ mph, but then, I don’t know the performance on this boat at all. I definitely like the extra space on the bow for seating. Not sure how that impacts the bed below, but I’d probably be okay with the extra space up top vs a slightly more compact sleeping area. I think the 370 Venture they made 5 years ago is a really nice boat, large bed downstairs, huge cockpit seating, walk through windshield for easy access to the bow, outboards. I’m not a fan of the complex joystick steering, would rather have the simplicity of bow thrusters and standard engines/steering.

I'd love to have outboards but....I'd never do it on a cruiser personally. Between kids swimming and playing for hours and hours from the platform and our copious use of a dinghy I'd surely lose my mind negotiating my way around those hogs.

I actually wish I had a bigger platform with more room! I just don't see OB's as being a sacrifice I'd be able to make. Boating is all about compromise (unless you're filthy rich) but giving up "substantially all of" the platform would be an extreme compromise for many of us.
