2016 SR Dancer Neutral/shift question

I was on the water and started engine after floating awhile, I “engaged” forward on shifter but it only revved with the shifter. I placed shifter back to ctr, then it engaged normally, so what did I touch to do this?

Cannot locate in manuals.

The most likely thing is that you somehow pushed the throttle only button on the stick. I would think you would already have known about this or have at least seen it - but just in case you haven't, start there.

If it’s DTS equipped, the “throttle only” button is right near the starter button and can be accidentally engaged

You should hear a few beeps when it activates.
