Hi,
I bought my 540 a couple of months ago. Unfortunately and it came without the Five Forty decals located on both sides of the hardtop below the Sundancer name.

I have been trying to find photos of these decal which are domed, have a chrome base and black top layer. They are 2.86" high and 18.33"in length. I have contacted Sea Ray and they will make new ones but will charge $1,340 each and I require 2. Pass on that option. I have scoured the Internet to find either the decals or good quality photos of them without success.

It was suggested that I post a note here and see if an owner of a 2013 or older 540 may be able to help by providing some photos of their decals. They need to be flat and not taken on an angle. I have a shop that is prepared to help make new ones if they can get these photos.

Thanks
Ainsley

I just purchased a 2012 54, it is 3 hours away from me right now but I will be at the boat this Thursday. I will take some pictures for you then.

Just to throw out another option (easy, inexpensive)... there's really no reason you have to use "domed" letters again. It really could be as simple as a local sign shop making you something out of black vinyl... or maybe a black/silver type coloring. You could do "540" (numerically) and put it underneath the "Sundancer" - make it "right justified" underneath. Another option would be to spell out "five-forty" in whatever script you like. Point is, you can make this how YOU want it - not necessarily how Sea Ray made it. Both options are simply opinions - go with your opinion... whatever that might be. I did this with my Sundancer and I printed out a few options on my computer to play with. Once I found what I liked I had a local sign shop make it. Again - just another thought!

I would try reaching out to the seller directly, have heard he has been helpful in the search for these things.

Many thanks PM40 for taking the time to assist with this project.
I have sent your photos to decal shop. Hope to hear back from them in a couple of days.

My pleasure, hope they are able to replicate it for you.

Post some pictures when you install your new decals.

Hi Paul,

Will do. I sent the photos to the printshop Customdoming in Tempe AZ.
They were very happy with them and said they should be able to replicate them.
They are off now for the holidays but said I should have them around mid to late January.
I will send through some photos.

Thanks Ainsley

I just got Five Eighty decals from them. I happen to be in Scottsdale for an extended period of time so I'll be going over there to pick them up. Nice people.

Hi Paul,

Its taken a while but I finally received the decals. The delay was no fault of the supplier who was fabulous.
I was very impressed with them when compared to the orginals in your photos. I think
they are a great copy. Very happy with them.

I have attached a few photos as requested. They appear to have change their orientation and I cannot correct it.

Thank you very much for your help. It is greatly appreciated.

Kind regards

Ainsley
