2012 SR 270 SLX Bimini Top Canvas

Hi,

Anyone know where I can order the bimini top canvas for a 2012 Sea Ray 270 SLX which has the tower (see attached screenshot)? I tried ordering from great lakes canvas but after waiting months, they sent me the wrong item even w/ sending them pictures, etc.

I looked at the SR parts manual but couldn't figure out which canvas part # is for my tower. The picture they provided doesn't match my tower. I believe my bimini top canvas is one piece and not two pieces. I'll have to confirm this when I go to the boat this weekend.

Normally something like that we would be able to order from the Great Lakes Boat Top company. We are a distributor for them and run a discount program for club sea ray.

Unfortunately, at this time they are not taking new orders. So, if you needed it immediately you may have to go to a local canvas shop and have it made

Just curious, why is Great Lakes no longer taking new orders? Surely, there’s not a shortage of Sunbrella along with everything else…..

While there are some supply chain issues causing delays it is primarily because of the large backlog of orders. I currently have open orders awaiting production that were submitted in early April.

Previously the normal production time was 10 days from order. With all the new boat sales production order are up quite a bit. Remember, they do work for a bunch of manufactures.

It's not just them either ameritex was also not taking orders for replacement canvas either. Between the two they cover most popular lines.
