I am the original owner of this boat and have now had three electrical issues with connectors in my boat. In each instance unplugging, cleaning the contacts and plugging it back together was the solution. The first happened 2 years ago and gave me an intermittent shutdown of the engine. The second and third happened last month. Radio went dead and the halon fire extinguisher system green light went out. There are not any signs of moisture in the connectors, it looks more like galvanic corrosion. Anyone else experience this? Different connectors every time. Boat is stored in a warehouse and then fork lifted into the water when used and then back into the boat hotel. I can't baby this boat anymore than it already is. It is a warehouse queen. :) Starting to feel a bit gun shy of the electrical gremlins.

salt water or fresh?

My old 260 sundancer was used in saltwater before I bought it and it really took its toll on non-sealed connections, had to replace/clean quite a few of them.

If you are freshwater its odd to have so many bad connections, I have been boating in freshwater for 30+ years and the only electrical issues I ever had were screw ups when building or just bad workmanship. Its always possible there is some kind of plating mismatch causing it or a bad batch of connectors.

Turns out most of the gremlins were due to the low pressure fuel pump beginning to fail. Would work most of the time and then stop and start again. New pump has solved the issues.
