HVAC not working, turn unit on and briefly turns on compressor and sea pump then showing error code Hi PS on thermostat display, have checked strainer and flushed water through system, all clear, checked HP switch in program shows OK, any suggestion's?:smt100

Have you cleaned the filter on the unit?

HP usually means low water flow. There should be an air filter on the unit itself, but I dont think that will cause HP

The intake, below the seacock for the AC cooling water could be plugged.........grass, plastic Wal Mart bag, etc. If you have a shop vac, you can blow through the strainer and out the bottom of the thru-hull to clear it. You will actually hear the bubbles gurgling under the boat.

This may be too simplistic an answer but I had a similar issue several years ago and it was suggested to me to follow the sequence in the manual to reset the system to the factory default settings. I imagine your manual will have the key sequence for your system to reset the factory default settings.

My problem started after running the boat with the generator and HVAC system on. I believe that at some point while on plane the water flow was restricted and the HVAC system shutdown as a safety precaution; this produced an error code on my system panel (sorry but I don't remember the code). Spent a long time trying to fix it until my last effort of resetting the factory defaults. Good luck.
