This is what the “quick connect” looks like. I have had other sea rays that have this set up so it is easy to service sea pump.

I have that too. It’s about 10” back from the pump.
With my bilge layout, it’s easier to drop the whole pump, then disconnect both hoses right at the pump.
I can see where there are setups where disconnecting that quick connect may be easier.
