Hey guys,
I had taken up my carpet in the salon of my 44 sedan bridge and was looking to possibly add hardwood flooring instead of having another carpet remade because the other one was junky. The only concerns I have with this is how to locate the same (factory) hardwoods already used so they match, and also the best way to finish off the engine hatches. If anyone has any info on what type of flooring was previously used or any tips and tricks on the best way to go about this project I would greatly appreciate it. I will upload pictures of what I would like to accomplish and what I am working with now.

When we were looking for our boat 3 years ago, we looked at a 2004 420DB that had wood throughout and no carpet. I remember they left gaps around where the big doors in the floor open and had cut strips that fit in the gap. Pull the strips out to open the doors. Really did not notice them. They had done the same thing for the galley hatch and the shower sump hatch as well as the bow thruster hatch.
