2008 Sea Ray 290 Dancer - Good Purchase?

I am in the market for a 2007 or 2008 290 Sundancer. I am new to boating - and currently have a Bayliner 265. We want something bigger with a dedicated bed in the V berth. Any advice or suggestions? I have found one that is certified pre-owned, does that get you anything? Thanks in advance for your comments.

That would be a great upgrade! Stay in that model (year) range and you will have the LOA of the 2010-2012 310DA's!

Certified pre-owned may come with warranty.

Sea Ray CPO program is pretty good, and I'm glad I bought mine CPO. Warranty paid off for me as I had two "service calls" within the first 2 months.

If you want a very clean well maintained freshwater 290.....look at Cincy's 290, I have been on it many times.

Thanks. Yes, upgrading . . . my house. going to be taking advantage of interest rates and great deals to be made on house prices before they begin to tick back up. Will reevaluate boating needs after a year off if I sell it. Don't have to but like the flexibility it will give me to devote time energy and resources to new home. Hoping to buy this house at a foreclosure sale in a couple weeks.
