Anyone know the correct serpentine belt number? I find 3 different numbers when I do a parts look up. Second, can I simply loosen the outer nut and then turn the inner nut on one of the tensioner to change it?

got a engine serial number and do you have axius system
no axius 865635!01
W/axius 879288Q21

No axius so 865635q01 looks to be the number. I was not sure why there were more than one listed- thanks for the clarification.
Is it the tensioner near the alternator (1 o'clock position) that adjusts or the one top left (11 o'clock)? I am not at the boat and am looking at a picture of the front of my motor.

thanks for your help.

Thanks. Any chance anyone knows a cross reference number for these? Merc is very proud of them based on the price.
They are 2519 mm from what I find, so I suppose I just try to find one the same size.

The Merc belt is 2519mm. Dayco 5060995 is 2525mm, so less than than 1/4" longer. I believe the tensioner has room to accommodate 1/4" over a 99" belt. $19 versus $99 for the OEM.

Eneded up using Dayco 5060990. Perfect fit.
