I have a 2008 40' Sundancer with 60 hrs and I am getting a slight musty smell coming from behind the sink cabinet. If I open the boat up for a few minutes it's gone. I have removed the back panel from the sink cabinet and inspected as far as one can see inside the hual and no signs of leaks. Next I am going to remove the fridge and check the air/heat unit pan and the back side of freezer to make sure all the wraping on the unit is dry along with the fridge. Any else have this issue?:smt009

Is your faucet leaking a bit? I had an issue with a leaky faucet.

Sorry to thread Jack here but a question about your 40 DA.

How do you find the running angle when on plane? My Dad's 06 40 with QSB380's runs with a very distinct bow up attitude and we're not sure how to get the nose down so to speak. Even with the Tabs all the way down the boat still runs with her nose in the sky.

Many people with slightly smaller SR's have had issues with tons of condesation around their refridges. Perhaps a search - I think it's the 360's that normally have the problem.

The issue on the 360 was a little unique, I think. Had condensation around the freezer door. But as posted in some other threads, I found I had the temperature set WAY too low. Setting it to a more reasonable temperature seems to have stopped it.

I'd guess there is a leak in the water system or, more likely, in the drain (which causes odors more quickly than leaky water supply).

When you speak of a leak in the drain what drain are you talking about?

I have the cummins QSB 380's and the boat comes on plane quite quick. In fact it is faster and comes on plane quicker the my 360 with 8.1 engines. My tabs push the nose down quick in rough seas.
