So I have been reading mixed things about the required time to replace the fuel lines. I have a late production 2008 DA with 420 hours in MA. I am worried about how the ethanol issues with the rubber lines. I have never had any issues with the lines but I don't want to have any. When should they be replaced?

I had my 2007 produced '08 lines replaced last season, when I started to see cracking. My thought was better safe than sorry.

I replaced the fuel lines on my 1999 two years ago - in my case they were deterring from the inside, leaving what looked like pepper in the fuel filter. The looked fine from the outside. This spring I went ahead and replaced my fuel fill and fuel vent lines for good measure. So, even though they lines are A1/A2 alcohol rated, they don't last forever - I would say after 10yrs you should be thinking about replacing. Get your wallet ready, the fill line is not cheap, I shopped around and paid $7/ft. You can't buy this stuff at the auto parts store.
