Time to reupholster but am not sure on how to remove the forward back cushion located aft of the running light. All other cushions pose no problem in removing.

On my 06 185 sport, four small metal tabs on top and bottom are screwed to the fiberglass with sheet metal screws, no nut. Kind of hard to see, have to pull down/up on edge of cushion to find them. Take those off and remove the cushions. I dont know if yours is the same but it might be worth a look.
Rereading your post, I realize you said forward cushion. I dont have those, i was referring to the cushions just below the windshield. Sorry.

Got it. Bottom center of cushion a screw/flat bracket holding the cushion in place. Two slide-on clips ( what are they really called) with 2 additional screws at the far ends of the cushion.
