Already posted this in the other electronics forum, but this seems like the more appropriate place to ask the question.

2007 Sundancer 40 with Cummins and factory dual E120s and no DSM with a Systemview SC5000 screen. I believe the Airmar smart transducer DT800 should supply water temp to the systemview, but the readout always reads the same temp. Depth works great.

Should I go straight to replacing the transducer or is there anything else I should check?

Strangely, air temp also always reads the same as well.

Thanks for any help!
Eric

Your title is miss leading, it sounds like engine temp.

But yes by your brief description it sounds like the water temp sensor is not working and the whole transducer needs to be replaced because of that on the DST800. When mine went it stayed 133 or so degrees.

What temp is it reading? The thermisters do fail, for some reason they seem to read high when they do.
