2007 Sea Ray 36DB

I have a friend that has fallen in love with the 36DBs. There is one for sale here on Lake Lanier that we looked at today. The exterior of the boat is rough due to the lack of attention and it not being in a covered slip. The bilge, engines, gen, etc look brand new. The upholstery in and out is good and all canvas/isinglass is new. If he can buy it right, could be a good deal....if.....the boat was a MM boat new and has always been on this lake. It has 276 hours on the mains.

I would be most interested to hear about issues with the electronic board in the salon that basically controls everything on the boat. It is very cool, but I have heard many horror stories around them.

Would anyone be willing to share their experiences with this boat and the electronics?

Bennett, I heard you can call searay with hull I.D. # and they can tell you if the boats eplex system has been updated, I understand that corrected a lot of previous issues, I think they definitely need a bow thruster IMHO, we love ours so far, but would be nicer with diesels but...……. It's a gas thirsty girl but what big boat isn't, it's perfect size for 2-3 people in my opinion
