I bought a 2002 240 sundeck sitting on a 2007 prestige trailer. I just went to look at it first and try it out and after I left I realized it didn't have a spare tire. I called the owner and asked him the tire size but he was unsure. It's at his lake home and he won't be back until the day I go back to pick it up. I would like to have a spare before I go back, so if anyone has a similiar set up it would be helpful or know where I could find out. Tires are in good shape but you know how Murphy's law is.

Try sending a email to the manufacturer with the current year and vin # of the trailer. They should be able to tell you what size tire and rim bolt pattern....

All tires have the size molded into the tire. This designation defines the rim size, tire width, profile and height. The wheel hub will have a 4,5, or 6 lug pattern and the diameter of the bolt pattern. knowing these things, getting a spare should be easy. Tractor Supply has most sizes ready to go.
You will also need to get the load rating, most likely C or D, or the weight of your fully loaded boat.

He is not there to look at the tires. The other problem is that Prestige is no longer in business. I called Heritage but they couldn't help. I had the vin # but it didn't matter.

Can the owner remember the lug count? When I did this I was able to obtain two tires and wheels from a trailer shop as emergency spares for the trip home. I paid for them and was refunded when I returned them. Then got the correct spares I needed. MM

Mine is an '05......Goodyear Marathons ST 215/75 R14
Can't believe Prestige went of of business. They made a great trailer & their customer support was excellent.

I noticed a couple people on here with Prestige trailers. I'm trying to find the exact location of my VIN# but having difficulty since my entire trailer is rhino lined! We have to register trailers here in AZ. Any assistance would be appreciated.

When I get mine next weekend I will check. What size of tires do you have on yours? I was told by Heritage that you could get 14's or 15's. Depended on how you ordered the trailer. What do you tow your sundeck with?

I think I have 14's on that one. I can check on Monday. I usually use an F250 Superduty to pull it which makes it a pretty easy pull. I hooked it up to my Landcruiser which has a 6500 LB towing capacity and it was just too much. Pushed my rear end way down. I could have used a leveling system, but did not want to put that much pressure on the vehicle.

It's a big boat and gets even heavier with full gas and water tanks!

Did you have a chance to check on the location of the trailer VIN? Thanks!

Sorry about that. I will check on it tomorrow. Just got the boat this weekend. Had some scheduling issues and didn't get it picked up as planned.

Thanks....looks like I'm out of luck. The rhino coating covered it up!

How do you like the 6.2? Our old 21' Seville had a 4.3. Great on gas and still had plenty of power. Going to be a jump on HP. Our boat is black also.
