2007 48 Sundancer stern thruster

Hi, wondering if anyone has installed a Vetus stern thruster on a 2007 48 Sundancer? I am told by the company I hired to do this for me over the winter that due to the location of my holding tank and generator in the engine compartment that the Vetus will not work for mounting inside hardware? The suggestion is to go with SideShift? Wondering if anyone has any thoughts?

I have an '08 with a Vetus stern thruster. The PO had it installed. I noticed last year when bottom painting they had to raise the zinc a few inches when it was installed.
