2007 320DA speedometer not working

The speedometer on our 2007 320DA has quit working. I have searched this site and found lots of postings for boats with out drives. Our boat has V-Drives. Any thoughts on what the problem may be or recommendations on what to check?

My boat with V Drives uses a paddle wheel thru hull.
I don't know if your boat is the same.
If it is I would check to see if the paddle wheel is obstructed with growth first.

+1, we had the same issue a few seasons ago and it was due to growth in the same location.
