I recently bought a 2007 310 DA and it has the original analog LCD televisions in the main cabin and mid berth. I want to replace at least the main cabin television with a digital TV compatible model.

How exactly does this TV come down? I was at the shop where I was having work done and it wasn't apparent to me how you get the TV off the bulkhead. From looking at it, the TV appears to be mounted on some bracket, but so close to the bulkhead you could barely even see behind it let alone get behind it.

I could see four Philips head screws on a panel just to the left and the right behind the TV -- does pulling these bring the TV down? I'm guessing that general attachment is TV -> bracket -> back panel.

Yes, remove those 4 screws and the bracket comes out. You can then remove the TV from the bracket.

Thanks. I sure wish the owner's manual or parts manual had this stuff better diagrammed.

Do you know if the TV is dual voltage (AC/DC) or is it AC-only? My boat was plugged into AC, but the main battery switches were both off, so I know there was AC power and no DC power live. The TV would turn on, which leads me to believe it could be AC only. I'm actually glad it's at least AC capable as I'd rather buy a generic cheap "home" TV versus wiring in a small inverter or buying a DC capable set, which are surprisingly expensive considering they're just deleting the internal DC power supply.

What about the factory mounting bracket, is it a generic VESA mount likely to fit a new TV or is it custom to the TV it came with?

I believe the TV's are AC only and the bracket is VESA compatible.

Does anyone know how to unplug the bulkhead mount TV on a 2005 320 Sundancer? I've looked under the helm but can't find the TV power plug in cord.
