Hey everyone,
we are looking at purchasing a 2007 or 2008 310. Iv'e been looking a while and this model and year seem to work out.
I really like the seat on the swim platform, we spend a lot of time on the hook and snorkeling, etc...
I also like the fact that it has 3 separate berths. We have two pre-teens that need separate sleeping quarters.
We are in S. Florida and have a wet slip so a V-drive set up is essential.
Our slip is only 12' wide so the 10.5' beam on this model is the biggest we can handle without buttering up the rubrails (Maybe we can get to 11' beam but I haven't seen anything I like as much as this one in that size.)
I mention the above in case you have a recommendation of a different model with similar traits.
We will be spending a lot of time in the Abaco's on this boat so my main question is directed to those that have experience running this set up.
What type of range do you get with V-drives on this boat?
I know there are a few different engine configurations, I'm not looking for speed, just want to comfortably be able to cross the stream with enough fuel if we need to run from weather a bit. We are in Palm Beach so the crossing will be about 60NM.
I appreciate your help in advnace,
Mario
