Newbee...
Just bought 2006 320. How to get the engine instrument lights and power for fuel levels etc to come on before engine start? Tried, engine start breakers and ignition on, but nothing?
Everything else lights up fine. Boat has the smart craft system if that is the issue?
Thanks..
Also, boat has been winterized and currently in the water, all seacocks closed etc...

If you have the rocker start switches at the helm, you can push them to the first position... just before the momentary start position.

And of course, don't push all the way down and try to start if you want to maintain the winterization.

Ok thanks,
Yea, yeah little nervous about turning over engines until winter is officially over here in NJ .Just spending a lot of time on boat fixing small things and cleaning for upcoming season. Have read manual several times and looking at wiring diagrams, but some things are easier learned by flipping switches etc:grin:...
I didn't pay close enough attention during sea trial how the whole start sequence went and when gauges got power...
Thanks.
Will have several more dumb Q's to follow....

Great choice of a boat :smt001 I see your over in Brielle. The currents on the Manasquan river can make docking quite exciting.:smt001 If you are new to boating I would suggest practicing docking at slack tide. This forum is a great place to get advice.

Yes, I've seen some interesting boating skills on the river when its ripping:grin:.. I'm primarily a sail guy making the transition to power because I have younger kids and wife that have a limited amount of patience.:smt100...
Will transition back to sailing sometime down the road because thats what I really enjoy...
Biggest boat I've owned is a 42 Morgan when I used to live down South...
I'm keeping the 320 on bay side of canal, at least for few years..
