For anyone interested- I am replacing the hatch actuator in our 2006 290 SS. The original actuator part is 1523729 which is obsolete. Sea Ray responded to my request for assistance with DM12-20A5-18-CE (Thomson Linear) as a potential option. After following threads on this site, K2G20-12V-BR-18 (Also Thomson Linear) is the replacement for the DM12-20A5-18-CE part-and it's expensive. Our boat is in water, and we were able to tie the hatch and use wood beams for support. (If you want pics let me know) It is a pretty straightforward removal and when we receive the new part early next week and install it I will update this post. Plan on rebuilding current actuator-if there are any thoughts out there send them my way.

Following up after install for anyone interested
-Wiring to old actuator was sound(no new wire routing was necessary)
-Unit came with non-weather protected packard 56 connectors (disappointed considering this was 900+ dollars)
-Butt spliced with water proof shrink connectors-pretty easy
-After install, alignment was not perfect, but we fit it in with pin assembly on top relatively easy
-This actuator is a few inches shorter in stroke (which I knew) and is a pretty big difference (still plenty of room)
-up/down wire-I reviewed the wire diagram in the manual and could not determine which color was up, and which was down-so I guessed and guessed wrong-had to cut and resplice so down switch was not up and vice versa.

-Tracking down this actuator was pretty painful-there's a lot of units out there through various companies which are cheaper but NOT ignition protected.

There are many posts on the actuator…… the original company is still active. You don’t go thru Searay …… if you need the contact in the future reach out

Ok.....thanks...if you have a POC that would be great for future reference I'm guessing I probably tried it/them..... based on the historical posts on the subject on this site.
