Hello everyone.
I finally added a swim platform to my 240da. I think it came off a 240sd, not sure though. It's a completely custom set up, down to the support brackets, and swim ladder. I also added the grab bar around the platform itself.
The non-skid is from Sea Dek, I had them add on the Sea Ray logos. I think it came out real nice. Here are some pics:

Thanks ya'll, I'm happy with it.

MM, the supports are made from 1.250" aluminum, thick wall (.125) tubing. I used the heavy stuff because I'm a big boy and didn't want any sag when I was on it, or using the swim ladder. Also I wanted it to be plenty strong for when I'm on my trips to the islands (Abacos) and there is a following sea. I didn't want any chance of having a problem with a flopping platform if the weather got bad. Overkill, but that's what I do. haha

Mike, that looks great! Have you taken her out on the water after the installation? Have you tried any cannon balls of the back?

Good job Mike!

I like how it goes past the outdrive. If you jump in the water off the back of the boat you will not land on the drive.

We spend a lot of time just sitting on our swim platform, bare feet dangling in the water, just talking, music in the background, sun in the clear sky, beverage in the hand, maybe some snacks.

I'm surprised that SeaRay hasn'e made this an OEM option yet. Looks good. I was wondering how the ladder was going to work with the handrailing but I see you mounted it underneath. Now you have a place to mount a grill too.

Cannon balls ...check, dangle feet in water, with background music...check, extra room on the platform...priceless! haha

Tood, your in my head. My plan is to mount a grill post under the hatch.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Mike
