Just purchased a 2005 Amberjack 270. After 3 days of rain Ive got a soaked carpet in the cabin. Dont see any water damage anywhere. Its probably been asked and answered but help..., Thanks, John

Look in the sump underneath the cabin stair. Your getting water in there somehow and the carpet is wicking it in to your cabin.

I own a 2006 Amberjack 270, and had the same problem. The "Head" window turned out to be the source of the water intrusion. Tighten the adjustment screws for the window gasket, and that should solve your problem. Please respond back if that solved your water leak.

I had the same problem on my 05. The water was coming in from the port running light. I found it by having a friend run a hose over the front of the boat from the windshield to the bow.

Good Luck

Recently mine was coming from the engine bay bilge. The main bilge pump burned out due to a failed auto switch. The sump under the step is connected to the main bilge, and was filling up. The carpet wicked up the water from the sump.
