My flip down tv is non responsive to switches. Actuator is ok. Anyone else worked on theirs that had issues with this system?

I did not find the controller unit. It has been repositioned apparently. I have amplifiers that someone else installed occupying the area it is supposed to be in. Can I power the switches with 12 volts and get the actuater to respond?

They probably moved it to the lower left from there the amps are.
