2005 340 Sundancer engine access

Has anyone found a way to open the engine hatch on a 2005 340 Sundancer with the battery switches off? I am worried in case of an emergency and i need to turn the battery switches off then need to open the hatch.

Other posts address this. There is a battery cable that connects to the lighter. You can use another battery to power it up. Also, lift the rear carpet, open the two ports, reach in, pull the pins out of the top of the lifting cylinders, then lift the hatch manually.
