Hey guys, im new to this forum and just picked up my first boat, a 2005 290 sunsport... Now I have a few questions, the freshwater system was not working I just took the pump out and put it on a battery and nothing , took it apart put it back together and still nothing so im pretty sure the pump is shot, I didn't see any voltage on the line that it was connected to , is there a switch somewhere that I need to turn on? does it automatically turn on and pump once it sees pressure is leaving the system?? My other issue is I installed a new stereo remote for the clarion up front, it has the main connector which controls it then it has a ground run to it and a power to illuminate it when the nav lights are on. The compass is also hooked into this line so that when the nav lights are on it lights up blue.. Some how the power wire on the back of the remote got grounded and im assuming it blew a fuse because I lost the leds, and if I put power back on the line direct from the battery the leds work. I checked all the breakers, and both the forward and aft EIMS and nothing is popped, any clue where I should be looking for this fuse, I know I can just rig it to the courtesy lights very easily but I want it working how it was.. thanks for any help!
