Hello all!!! Well I final joined the forum!! Just got my newly purchased 2004, 300 out of the shop last weekend! We bought it back in September, but about a week after purchase while having the Bravo III lowers replaced and updated, the port fuel tank sprung a leak. Needless to say a bit frustrating. But I took the opportunity while it was out of water to have a bunch of work and updates done. Now she is running fantastic, and we are looking forward to a couple seasons with minimal maintenance (fingers crossed, knocking on wood). So now that we are mechanically sound there are a few other things I'd like to do. The biggest thing is replace the main bow mattress. Anyone have one in good shape they want to sell? Thanks all!

Most people add a 4"foam pad on top to a softer feel if the issue is comfort or is your mattress just nasty?

Great boat from a great year. How did you get 454s in there? 6.2l was the biggest factory option. Your profile says Huntsville. The one in Alabama? I grew up there.

Welcome aboard!

Welcome aboard! We bought a memory foam topper too and just cut it to fit. Makes it much more comfortable. Good luck with her.

Zz13 I do live in Huntsville AL! We got the 5.0 mpi mercrusiers and new bravo III lowers... Very low engineer hours under 150 on each side, blue hull and full isenglass (sp). Will hopefully have photos soon.

Yeah mattress is old and kinda nasty... Needs replacing sooner than later for sure. I will probably end up making one myself.
