i have an issue with my starboard 8.1 l eng. its goes into guardian mode as a result of the sea pump pressure at 3psi at idle while my port eng shows 43 psi at idle. I changed the impeller and still no change. I replaced the sensor and again no change. (just in case your wondering I am using my rinda scan tool.) i checked for obstructions in the lines and found none.
does anyone have a wire diagram for the sea pump pressure sensor. or do I buy a bad sensor.

43 PSI sounds way too high - so something is going on with the sensor.

well the eng running at 43 psi is not being flagged and going into guardian mode. while the starbaord eng running at 3 psi is.

My boat since new only hits 12.X psi on plane at 3700 rpm's - point of reference.

have never seen 43 on either engine. I keep the PSI displayed on each tach, the windows at the bottom. At idle my port does run lower than starboard, but at 8-900 RPM they even out. Guessing from memory, 8-900 RPM is around 4 or 5 - reaches a high somewhere in the teen ( once again memory).

3 psi at idle is not out of line, but 43 psi if a true reading may indicate a blockage in the manifolds or risers.
