You can try to take it apart and cleaning it but you may just be delaying the inevitable, as I went through this last year. Ordered from progressiveautomations.com.
Model PA-14-4-35; 4" Stroke; Force 35 lb; Speed 2.00/second. Cost was around $130.00 including shipping. Pretty simple to swap out.

BTDT. Can you move it by hand with power applied? If so, spray some WD40 on a rag and wipe down The power ram while it is extended. Exercise the unit several times.
If not, +1 on Windjammer's route. That unit from a boat store would be jacked up to 1/2 a boat buck for the same unit.

Try the lithium spray grease first...It's worked on both my 340 and 410...if not, then you may have to go Windjammer's route...
