2004 260DA sys tach

Has anyone had experience with fog inside the lens? The tachometer needle was intermittently not working. Related?

I see this on my tach and speedometer from time to time. Goes away during the week when boat is not being used. Do not know what causes it, but never really concerned me because it does go away.

likewise with mine on occasion - I store inside and have found that it does not happen if you keep the helm cover off of the instrument panel... always clears up in time.

I have had fog in the speedometer before, but it did not interfere with the needle. This is the first time on my tach and the needle was intermittently not working.
