2003 420DA Upgrades Continued

My wife wanted a blue hull very badly. We looked at 2-blue hulls up the east coast before this boat showed up. The deal on this one just could not be passed up. So for an alternative, she wanted the stripe. We got the idea from the Monaco Editions. Thanks for the compliments.

GREAT wax job! She looks great Bennett!

What a chore that was...to get it detailed. Between the weather and the guy I hired to do it, it took forever. I have seen boats detailed and I have done it myself, but I have never seen compound slung all over 25 acres. I had to call the guy to come and wash the boat beside me as it got compound all over it too....

Still have a long ways to go. Cockpit refrigerator, bilge, dash, and more. Finally feels like we are making progress. We decided this would be the last one and we would make it like we wanted it. My wife designed all of the upholstery colors and did all of the decorating. I have added 3-110v outlets in the cockpit and one in the bilge with their own dedicated breakers. Adding 3-USB charging stations next. Have new exterior lettering/graphics to add. The cockpit wet bar has been a big hit with the corian. Enough for now.

Wow, beautiful boat, would like to hear more about the domed lettering, my "420" on the starboard side transom and the "420 Sundancer" at the base of the arch on both sides is very faded and Sea Ray says there's no way to get that part #. Any ideas would be appreciated, same color needed, silver w/black border. Thanks!

Go to https://www.domednumbers.com/online-store/Sea-Ray-c22283063

Get the $95.00 package if you want the OEM look. You will get one for each side of the arch and the 420 for the transom.

It looks like you’re doing a great job, how did your Mount your TVs ?
I’m asking because the boat I’m in the process of purchasing still has the TV VCR combo (The old tube style TV)

First of all I am a fan of Samsung TVs and we bought 4-new Smart ones.....

I mounted a 40" on the arch with this mount and love it....https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084Z881TP?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details

I mounted a 32" above the microwave using a $20 articulating mount. Mounted the mount to the left wall of the cabinet that once housed the old TV. Same in aft cabin and in MSR using 24" models. By securing the mounts to either the left or right wall of the "hole," there is plenty of storage behind the TV. Hope that made sense....

Also pulled 2-new 110v circuits by installing 2-new 15amp breakers in the electrical panel. Pulled one wire up into the port side arch and installed an outlet for the TV and can pull another line off of the GFCI if I want later. There is a plug behind the ice maker/fridge you could plug the TV into. Pulled the other circuit through the bilge and installed a GFCI outlet there. From there pulled another wire up beside the helm seat.....

Hope this helps.

Finally some exterior pics.....

Installed two Imtra 6” lights in the arch with a dimmer switch mounted above the cockpit sink.

We still have a ways to go, but shoulder surgery is going to slow me down for a little while.

I really like the look of the wrap you did. Brings out the lines of the whole boat.
