I'm new to CSR, but been lurking here since the purchase of a gently used 2003 220 in September. Our former boat was a 1992 18ft Bayliner bowrider. We had it for 14 years, but sold it in 2006 when the wife said she was done with boating and wanted an inground swimming pool. I thought I could live without a boat because I had several friends who own various sizes raning from 20 ft. to 42 ft., but who was I kidding. I missed the open water and convinced the wife she missed it too.
The previous 220 owner took really good care of the boat. The gel coat shines like new and the interior is in good shape with some wear and tear, but for a 7+ year old boat, it's in great condition. The engine compartment was clean and the outdrive looked almost brand new. Both props also looked great. I really like the interior layout with two swivel buckets and aft bench/sunpad and walkthrough. I've added 20 hours to the clock and really enjoy the 350MAG and B3 combo. I think my only compliant is engine access. It should be a lot of fun replacing the water pump impeller!
We are now looking forward to warmer days in 2011, spending some time on the water with family and friends and reading more about Sea Ray boats on CSR.
