2002 Sundeck 240SD

We just made a move from a 1997 175 SeaRay Bowrider to the 2002 Sundeck 240SD! Our 2003 minivan pulled the 175 just fine but obvioulsly we are now in the market for a bigger, stronger tow vehicle. There are a lot of choices. I'd rather stay in the Trailblazer/Explorer size....but looks like the GVWR will be maxed out. Q: Are these SUV's doable with the proper trailer package for the 240SD? What I've read so far seems to be pointing toward the Suburban/Yukon/Expedition sizes. Any success and or horror stories world be appreciated.

I had the same boat and pulled it easily with a grand cherokee V-8 4X4. No issues. Never more that 20-25 miles but never an issue. Key is the V-8.
