I want as much visibility as possible, hence multiple categories used.

At the risk of pissing off the people with the answers when they have to read the same post 3 times.
Wow, get a life or maybe a job. Most people that use this forum look through specific categories. Obviously you have nothing else to do. If this pisses you off, maybe try some anger management therapy?

I beg to differ. Most people that read this forum look at new post first.
Oh, and welcome to CSR.

Just out of curiosity, if you just joined yesterday, how do you know how most people use this forum?

Like Mitch said, most use the "new posts" link and/or "watched threads".

But, back on point... it's definitely better to try and stick with one thread. It's more efficient for those of us trying to help. And, really, that's what you're after - trying to get help - so make it as easy as possible.

I'll respond with a follow up on the other thread.

My mechanic suggested multiple categories. He doesn’t have time to read ever single post so he focuses on just general repairs and maintenance. He also said many people like him that specialize do the same. Makes absolute sense to me. Seems like your the only one with an issue with my posting. Please ignore and move on.

Yea, your response really didn’t help my search for a new cushion. Skip my posts and move on please.

Your not going to find a "new" cushion. Most likely not even if it were on a 5 year old boat. If you have one that is damaged, in need of repair or reupholstering, there are guy's on here that do that or can make recommendations. Some may even be right in your backyard.
Posting your location in your info. will sometimes help with any other issues you may have in the future.

Once again, welcome to CSR.

I suppose I'm not "specialized" enough.

Very well, I will move on.

Creepy place, isn't it?

You can add me to that list too - you're a douchebag
Good lord, was this the highlight of your day? Do you also troll facebook looking for opportunities to bitch at people, bitch?

Here is the problem... this community is not Facebook. Yes over on Facebook you may want to post in many forums and groups and most people over there are members of one or another or not all.

Think of CSR as one forum. CSR hosts some of the best and accurate information on the Internet related to Sea Rays and related systems - occasionally we do go off topic.

Almost all of the technical members will scan the new posts and provide info or tag others that may be able to help. Having multiple threads on CSR only causes confusion since it spreads out the responses and troubleshooting rather than concentrating it in one place.

We welcome you here and we are just providing some input to help you get the results you are looking for. If you don't like the way we play fell free to go back to Facebook and try to figure out what information provided is correct and which may do more harm - there is a lot of that over there I see it all the time.

Thanks
-Kevin

I didn‘t realize there were strict rules. Whatever violations I’ve made does not warrant idiotic responses. Thanks for the welcome. I don’t use Facebook and by “we”, are you authorized to speak for everyone in this forum? Just curious what your role is.

How to win friends and influence people. Film at 11.
Another productive response. What is it with people that feel like they must make their opinion known with no benefit to anyone? Jeez, bored or what?
