2002 Amberjack Clarion Stereo Upgrade

Hey Guys,

I am going to do an upgrade to the installed system but am trying to figure out if there is an installed amp for this system.... does anyone know?

If you've got more than 4 speakers it's a pretty safe bet you have a stock amplifier. Finding it/them can be quite an adventure. Sometimes they are behind your breaker panel, sometimes behind the couch, quite a variety.

I've always enjoyed JL speakers but recently went Fusion for a head unit. A solid choice. Ton's of threads on this forum with really good info. It seems like JL and Wetsounds are the most popular brands for speakers. Head unit choice of brand is probably a bit more diverse. As are amps.

The amp should be located behind the panel to the right. You have to unscrew the door and open it up and the amp should be tucked back to the right.

I kept the cabin amp/speakers,
replaced deck with 2 zone Fusion with nmea 200 networking so my lowrace up to controls too, and a wireless transom remote.

I used factory wiring for cockpit amp, and replaced with lower power clarion amp... and replace d4 deck speakers with wet sounds, and 2 tub suds off same amp... so my factory amp switches work, and sounds awesome...
