2002 210sundeck vs 220 sundeck

Anyone with real world experience with both that can let me know what you think about them comparatively. I am particularly wanting to know about the difference in space and overall size/maneuverability.

We are campers and I plan on towing our travel trailer while my wife ties the boat. We have an opportunity to buy either a 2002 210 or 2002 220 both in excellent condition. If there is a big difference in towing ( sheer size, visibility, maneuverability ) then that will help us make a decision. If the roominess is substantial between the two, then perhaps that will trump the possible difference in size.

The two boats are in opposite directions 3 hours away so I can't easily compare the two, so just wondering if anyone had experience with them both.

Bigger is always better. A HUGE a difference is the 210's tiny swim platform. That alone would push me towards the 220

Well I drove the 210 this past weekend. No sale. Boat was in terrific shape, but too many weird things from the sellers mouth and noises from the drive. Anyway.... My impression of the 210 was not what I thought it was going to be. It seemed "clunky" as the only way I can describe it regarding handling/ride. I didnt find the bench seats to be comfortable and they were a little out of proportion ( deep seats with low back support) anyway, I was able to get to see a 220, but not drive it. It just "felt better"- more like a sport boat while I was inside of it. I towed the 210 to the ramp and it towed very easily, im hoping The 220 will be the same regarding that. Anyway, thanks for the replies- the search continues... I have an opportunity to buy a monterey explorer 233 and the boat is excellent all the way around except one thing... it isnt a Sea Ray!

I'm a little late to the party but I tow my 2003 220 sundeck with a 2004 lariat f 150. It is noticed.beh8nd but not to any great extent. I wouldn't hesitate driving in any normal situations. As for.the boat, it feels bigger than a lot other similar size boats I've been on or seen. My alpha one is not great around some of the docks where you don't get to choose sides but with a little practice you get to know what to expect and dock accordingly.
