Hello,

I have just purchased a Sea Ray 410 Express with 450 Cummins and would like to replace the plow anchor with a Fortress. I would need to change the pulpit roller with something different and wondering if anybody has done the same.... Since we are beach boaters it would save all my friends back's if I can figure this out soon. I contacted Sea Ray and that is the only configuration they have. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My 380DA had the plow and now has a Fortress. I retained the existing anchor pulpit and it works fine.

I tried a Fortress FX-37 which was too big for the boat either way and didn't sit right in the pulpit. I might try the FX-23 and see if that might work. Do you have the FX-23?

The Fortress FX-37 is shown in the stock anchor pulpit. I just flip the chines up for storage, as shown.

Boatdave, I have a 1999 400 DA took off the worthless plow and put a FX37 (bought from BOE). The FX 37 will lay flat on the underside of the stock rollers, you will just need to guide it a little at the end.Sorry no pic. but it looks fine.

I tried the FX-37 and no dice. My guess is that I have a different style pulpit roller set up. I'm going to try the FX-23 and see if that works. I really appreciate the help.

highly recommend a Rocna anchor....have excellent ability to hold in all types of ground....we were anchored out this summer with 2 other boats(a 330,270 Ray) and, my rocna(25kg model) and 1 other fortress were set. Within 30 seconds the wind snapped around 90 degrees and blew at 60 odd MPH(for 15 min) as a squall came through. The 3 boats were right over top the fortress and left the Rocna holding all 3 boats and never dragged ..... I'm sold!!! see video at rocna.com Tom
