I have a question on what transmission fluid a 2001 410DA takes and where the dipstick is location in the machinery compartment?

The boat is equipped with twin 350 cats and ZF transmissions.

Assuming you have the same transmission as me, ZF HSW800, they take Dextron III ATF. Dipsticks screw into the top of the housing, port side is under one of the ER steps and accessible through a hole in the step. Stb is pretty visible just looking at the top of the tranny. Look for white plastic knob.
