2001 410 city water hook up question

Hello,

So I know this may sound like a silly question. When I hook up to city water and turn off the fresh water pump I get no water. Am I missing something? However the freshwater washdown outlet in the truck works viq cit only.. But the wash down doesn't work off the freshwater pump. Seems goofy.
shouldn't the wash down work via the pump? And city water just by pass the pump and work?

Take the panel off inside the trunk and check for a kinked line. We had one that was kinked and started to leak. Sounds like it's blocking the rest of the system from the city hookup. The trunk faucet it probably past the kink but down from the city hookup so it works when hooked up.
